The Lib Dem "Top Ten" Priorities for Surrey are:
- Improve the condition of the roads and footways.
- Provide more activities for young people
- Protect school budgets and invest in early support for pupils who need it.
- Improve public transport to reduce traffic congestion.
- Promote more affordable and key worker housing.
- Encourage reduction and recycling of waste.
- Oppose sell off and closure of libraries.
- Oppose government plans to remove the right to free school transport.
- Increase support for carers.
- Tackle anti-social behaviour.
And one more! - Involve local people in the Council's decision-making process.
